    1. Preparation

Hull and slice two strawberries into 6.3mm making a total of 6 slices. Slice remaining strawberry, one slice for the beak and two smaller slices for the ears, set aside. Slice 2 round 6.3mm pieces of the banana for the eyes, with the remaining banana slice horizontally. Place the mini pancake for the head and the regular pancake for the body on your serving plate. Spread a layer, your choice of honey, peanut or nut butter on both pancakes.

    2. Berry owl head

Place the 2 round banana pieces on the mini pancake, followed by placing a blueberry in the centre of each banana eye. Next place the sliced strawberry pieces on the mini pancake, one slice for the beak and the two smaller slices for the ears.

    3. Berry owl body

Starting from the top of the regular size pancake: Rows 1-3: place about 4 blueberries across the pancake. Row 4: place about 3 blueberries across the pancake. Row 5: place about 2 blueberries across the pancake. Row 6: place about 3 blueberries across the pancake. To form the wings; place 3 slices of strawberries tips pointing downwards on each side of the blueberries. Place the horizontal sliced banana under the owl’s body, ending by placing 2 almonds under the blueberries for its feet.
