Strawberries are best stored in the fridge in their packaging, as they have a shelf life of only 3-4 days at room temperature. If you’d like to freeze your berries, wash them carefully in cold water and pat dry, remove the stems and any soft spots, and pack them into freezable containers.
Strawberries are most delicious at room temperature, so take them out of the fridge and leave them in their container until you’re ready to eat them. Just before eating, gently rinse under cool water and remove the green caps.
