Our Environmental Commitment

We’re committed to a sustainable future, so we do everything we can to ensure that our farming practices are gentle on our natural environment, and support local communities, too.

What Sustainability Means To Us

At Driscoll’s, we define sustainability as “meeting our present needs without compromising the future generation’s ability to meet theirs.”

The achievement of true sustainability is an ongoing journey. We are committed to making continual progress towards waste reduction, and to better care for the natural and social resources that we depend on.

Reduce Water Use

One of our top priorities at Driscoll’s is water conservation. Water is a critical resource here in Australia and New Zealand, so we work hard with our independent farmers to drive sustainable change in water usage. We are proud of the results we have achieved so far, and strive to continue to find ways to use water more sustainably.

A Team Effort

We have an ongoing responsibility to manage and address the environmental risks both to our business and to our local communities. To stay aligned with this, we work closely with our farmers, supply chain partners, and the communities we operate within.

80% Recycled Packaging & APCO Membership for a Sustainable Tomorrow

We are dedicated to fulfilling our environmental responsibilities, and to help that, we use packaging made from 80% recycled PET (RPET). This food-safe material helps minimise our ecological impact, and by choosing it, we are actively contributing to the circular economy.

We are also proud to be members of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO), and we invite you to take a look at our comprehensive APCO report. You can learn more about our efforts to achieve a greener, more responsible future.
