Start your day right with this full-of-goodness smoothie bowl, topped with crunchy nuts, seeds and toasted coconut flakes. Every mouthful is a delicious burst of flavour.

Ingredients

3/4 cupnatural yoghurt or kefir

200gfrozen unsweetened acai berry pulp, broken up

1 large frozen banana, coarsely chopped

1/2 x 250g punnet Driscoll's strawberries, hulled

1/2 x 125g punnet Driscoll's raspberries

1/2 x 170g punnet Driscoll's blueberries

1/2 cupmilk

lime juice, to taste

honey, to taste

Toppings

mixed Driscoll's berries

chopped pistachios

pepitas/ sunflower seeds

toasted coconut flakes

Method

  1. Smoothie

    Place all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender or small food processor. Blend until smooth. Scrape down the inside of the blender or processor bowl, if required. If the mixture isn’t moving well in the blender, add a tablespoon or two of water, being careful not to add too much. Taste the mixture and add a squeeze of lime juice and a drizzle of honey, if necessary, to balance the flavour to your liking.

  2. Serving

    Spoon into chilled serving bowls and decorate with berries and other toppings. Serve immediately.
