Sweet, savoury, and completely satisfying, this Berry Melt is all about the contrast between juicy, fresh berries and rich, melty cheese. The warmth of the cheese softens into the berries, creating a perfectly balanced bite with every mouthful. Simple to make, but packed with flavour that feels a little bit special.

Ingredients

2wholegrain burger buns or bread

120gbrie cheese

1 punnetDriscoll's Raspberries

1 punnetDriscoll's Blackberries

100g rocket leaves

1-2 tbspshoney

Method

  1. Preparation

    Lightly toast the burger buns until warm and slightly crisp. Place cheese onto the bottom half of each bun and warm until soft and melty (you can do this under a grill or in a pan with a lid).

  2. Assemble and Drizzle

    Add a handful of rocket on top of the melted cheese. Scatter over raspberries and blackberries generously. Drizzle with honey and add a pinch of pepper or salt if desired.

  3. Serve

    Place the top bun on, press gently, and serve immediately while the cheese is still warm and gooey.
